STVR Application Process

Applying to become a Certified Short-Term Vacation Rental

STVR property owners must complete an application and receive a certificate verifying they have met all zoning and ordinance requirements associated with the use. A STVR certificate must be obtained prior to operating.

Applications along with the check or money order for the permit fee can be mailed to the Tourism Management and Ambassadorship Department (TMAD) at P.O. Box 1027, Savannah, GA 31402 or dropped off at the TMAD located in the Sub-Basement of City Hall. Once an STVR application has been approved, a Business Tax Certificate must be obtained.
