Local DBE/MWBE contractors invited to GDOT outreach event

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will host an outreach event for local Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)/Minority-Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) contractors who are interested in learning more about working on major transportation projects. The event will be held Wednesday, June 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Savannah Civic Center. Participants are encouraged to pre-register for the event at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/dbe-business-opportunities-savannah-tickets-34896907590.

Attendees will learn more about upcoming major highway projects valued at $11 billion; $2 billion in subcontracting opportunities for DBEs; and how local companies can prepare for involvement.
