The Savannah Impact Program is gearing up for its 7th Annual Slam Dunk Hunger Basketball Game and Canned Food Drive. During this event, youth participating in Savannah Impact Program’s WorkSource Coastal program and Summer Impact Program will join forces with Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police officers and Savannah Impact Program staff in a competition with a good cause.

The game is set for Tuesday, October 3rd, at 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club at 501 E Charlton Street.

Food donation barrels have been placed at SCMPD’s headquarters, administration building and precincts, along with the SIP office, and Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club. All donations benefit the Social Apostolate of Savannah’s food and meal assistance initiatives.
