Thrive FACEOFF Energy Efficiency Challenge
A Competition to Reduce Energy Consumption

The purpose of the FACEOFF competition was to decrease energy consumption among 5 City of Savannah buildings. The idea for the competition stemmed from a previous project on recycling that was put forth by the city’s volunteer-based group, Thrive. Designing with behavior change in mind, strategies included incorporating education, clear communication, delight and lasting ideas while empowering participants to make positive changes in their daily habits.

CITY HALL $1,561 = 0580 POUNDS OF CO2
BROUGHTON $3,343 = 1241 POUNDS OF CO2
GAMBLE $538 = 0199 POUNDS OF CO2
DEVELOPMENT $1,136 = 0421 POUNDS OF CO2
