About the Division
The Special Operations Division is made up of teams that provide technical rescue, hazardous materials mitigation, marine firefighting and dive responses. They also represent Georgia's Urban Search and Rescue Team as Georgia Search and Rescue Task Force 5. Special Operations plays a vital role in providing specialized responses for the citizens and visitors of the City of Savannah, Chatham County, and the State of Georgia.
