[ARCHIVED] Post-storm clean-up efforts near completion

The City of Savannah is nearing completion of the clean-up efforts following the Hermine storm. The City expects to resume the regular yard waste collection schedule next week. Residents are asked to put any remaining storm debris out at their regular collection pick-up spot.

Loose debris, such as leaves and small sticks, should be placed in brown, biodegradable yard waste bags. Larger limbs and branches should be cut to four foot sections and neatly stacked to aid in faster pick-up.

The City appreciates the cooperation and patience of our residents as we complete storm debris clean-up.
