Live Oak Public Libraries and the City of Savannah Department of Cultural Affairs present the 2017 Savannah Children's Book Festival on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Forsyth Park. The festival celebrates the joy of reading, the power of the written word and the magic of storytelling with award-winning children's book authors and illustrators from around the country.
This free, day-long event brings families together to meet their favorite authors and illustrators and enjoy a variety of hands-on activities throughout the day. This year's festival includes book signings and readings, arts and crafts, community partners and nonprofit organizations, as well as a variety of food.
