[ARCHIVED] Shop local on Saturday, Nov. 25

Small Business Saturday

The Small Business Chamber, Buy Local, and the City of Savannah have partnered to become a Neighborhood Champion for American Express' Shop Small campaign for Small Business Saturday on November 25, 2017.

Together, their mission is to support small businesses and to raise community awareness of the impact shopping small has on Savannah’s economy. Eight businesses throughout Savannah will serve as information hubs and will be located near Downtown/Broughton Street, River Street, Liberty Street, Habersham Village, Starland District, Southside, Wilmington Island, and a pop-up shop in the Ogeechee area.

To better connect shoppers with local businesses, the Shop Small campaign rolled out a new website to promote local small business activities for the event. Businesses are encouraged to register on the Shop Small Savannah website to list their company and coupons/discounts for the holiday shopping season. The website will remain active throughout the remainder of the year so businesses will gain added exposure beyond just Small Business Saturday. Participation in this event is a fantastic way for businesses to increase their brand awareness and connect with the community.
