SAVANNAH, GA (March 14, 2018) — The City of Savannah and the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center have teamed up to offer expanded parking and ferry service from Hutchinson Island on March 16 and 17.

Those who park on Hutchinson Island will have free roundtrip transportation to get across the river. The water ferry will operate from 7:00 AM until midnight Friday and Saturday, taking passengers to and from River Street.

The cost to park at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center is $20, which includes the cost of transportation across the river.

Traffic Engineering Administrator Stephen Henry said, “Parking on Hutchinson Island is a great way to enjoy the parade and festival while avoiding heavy traffic in the downtown area.”
