Bolton Street Stormwater Rehab
Update 6-11-2019
City contractor brought in two additional boilers to speed up the curing process. As of this morning, the temperature was hot enough to start the liner chemical reaction that will harden/cure the liner. Smoke come out of catch basins the project area including a block or two to the north and south. This is actually steam and a result of the curing process. The intersection of Waldburg and E. Broad is passable at this time in the east/west directions.
Update: 6-10-2019
- Friday: Goal for liner curing process complete we can then begin opening up the liner for flow
- Saturday: Goal for pump bypass removal. Gwinnett underpass open and pumps at East Broad and Waldburg removed.
- Monday: Goal for having East Broad and Bolton opened all equipment removed.
Other updates:
Tent and fence on Bolton removed
East Broad and Waldburg intersection cleaned
Inlets cleaned
Trash and debris picked up in area. Trash carts upright
Equipment removal continues through the week.
Keeping pipes pumped down for max capacity.
