Bolton Street Stormwater Rehab
Update 6-12-2019
As of this morning there is no standing water in the intersection of E. Broad and Waldburg. Waldburg is passable for cars and trucks. Both City pumps are running at the lift station to drain the underpass at Gwinnett. A contractor added one additional pump at the intersection of E. Broad and Gwinnett. The intersection is still passable to the north and west, however the underpass remains closed.
Update 6-11-2019
City contractor brought in two additional boilers to speed up the curing process. As of this morning, the temperature was hot enough to start the liner chemical reaction that will harden/cure the liner. Smoke may come out of catch basins in the project area, including a block or two to the north and south. This is actually steam and a result of the curing process. The intersection of Waldburg and E. Broad is passable at this time in the east/west directions.
