Youth baseball and track seasons to open April 21
SAVANNAH (April 20) – The Savannah Recreation and Leisure Services Department will open youth baseball and youth track seasons starting tomorrow, April 21.
Youth baseball teams can reserve practice fields for two weeks, with games beginning on May 1. To register or for more information, stop by the Paulson Softball Complex at 7171 Skidaway Rd. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or call 912-351-3852.
Track and field meets will be held on May 8, May 22 and June 5. The meet locations are still being determined. To register or for more information, stop by the Daffin Park Administrative Office at 1301 E. Victory Dr. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or call 912-351-3842.
Spectators will be required to follow the City of Savannah Emergency Order guidelines for outdoor gatherings, including wearing a mask and practicing social distancing.
