2021 Veteran's Day parade

SAVANNAH (Nov. 8) - The City of Savannah will celebrate Veteran's Day on Thursday, Nov. 11, with the return of the annual parade.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Abercorn and Gwinnett streets.

This year, the parade will turn east on Oglethorpe Avenue rather than Broughton Street due to construction. The viewing stand will be in front of Savannah Fire Headquarters, 121 E. Oglethorpe Ave.

No parking signs are posted along the parade route, so if you see a sign where you usually park, please move your car by 12:01 a.m. Thursday to avoid being towed.

Savannah Police expect normal traffic flow to resume by 2 p.m. Thursday.
