SAVANNAH (Jan. 4) – City of Savannah Sewer Conveyance staff responded to a major sewage spill on Jan. 2 at 7 East Derenne Avenue in Savannah.

An estimated 58,150 gallons spilled before being corrected yesterday afternoon. State Environmental Protection Division guidelines classify this as a major spill, which is a spill over 10,000 gallons.
