Overnight lane closures planned for DeRenne Avenue and Abercorn Street June 1

 

SAVANNAH (June 1) - The City of Savannah is performing overnight sanitary sewer and maintenance hole repairs from 9 p.m., Thursday, June 1, to 7 a.m., Friday, June 2, in the eastbound lanes of DeRenne Avenue and at the intersection of DeRenne Avenue and Abercorn Street. 

 

The repairs will require the closure of the northern eastbound lane of DeRenne Avenue and the DeRenne Avenue eastbound turning lane onto northbound Abercorn Street. The project will also include the closure of the two western lanes of southbound Abercorn Street along with the northbound Abercorn Street inside turning lane onto westbound Derenne Avenue. 

 

The City expects traffic to return to normal by 7 a.m. on Friday, June 2.
