Savannah Fire opens its doors for back-to-school event

SAVANNAH (July 28th) – School is around the corner and Savannah Fire is inviting all media members to attend two open house events this Saturday! The department is hosting two separate events giving away free school supplies for residents of Savannah.

These events will give the community the opportunity to meet their local firefighters, play firefighting related games and the opportunity to get school supplies for the upcoming school year. Free food and additional prizes will be available at each location.

Media representatives are welcome to come to either open house event at station nine or 11 this Saturday, July 29.

Station nine: 2235 Capital St., from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Station 11: 11844 Apache Rd., from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
