Registration Open For SCAC Fall Classes

SAVANNAH (Sept. 25, 2023) – The Savannah Cultural Arts Center (SCAC) has opened registration for the second round of fall classes. Fall classes will begin Oct. 16.

The full class catalog and registration form can be found at savannahga.gov/culturalartsclasses.

Among this fall’s offerings are several new visual arts and performing arts classes. A Teen Product Design class will teach teens to channel their entrepreneurial spirit into the creative aspects of getting a product to the market. Another new class, Discovering Your Artistic Style, is geared towards expanding the creativity of young people with a variety of art projects.

On the performing arts side, SCAC will offer a new Adult Neurodivergent Ballet Class focused on offering learning tools and support for neurodivergent individuals who need extra attention in a learning environment. Several other new dance classes will join this fall’s roster, including Advanced Beginning Adult Ballet, Children’s Dynamic Dance, and Hip Hop Dance.

Special pricing is available for residents who have an address within the City of Savannah corporate limits. Reduced pricing is available for qualifying City of Savannah residents. Documentation is required.

The SCAC’s goal is for all classes to be inclusive and accessible. If a person has an accommodation request, please let the staff know when registering for a class by completing the appropriate section on your form. Or you may email your request to scac@savannahga.gov, or call 912-651-6783. Due to resources, the center cannot guarantee all accommodations can be met.
