 City Offices Closed Friday In Observance Of Veterans Day

Friday Sanitation Schedule Affected

 

SAVANNAH (Nov. 6, 2023) – City of Savannah administrative offices and facilities will be closed Friday, Nov. 10, in observance of Veterans Day. Emergency services will remain open. 

Sanitation services will be impacted by the holiday. Residents can expect the following changes to their schedule: 

Residential garbage and recycling will not be collected on Friday, Nov. 10. Sanitation crews will resume yard waste collection on Saturday, Nov. 11. Street cleaning services will resume Monday, Nov. 13. 

The Dean Forest Road Landfill and Bacon Park Transfer Station will be closed for drop-offs on Friday, Nov. 10. Dean Forest Landfill will resume operations on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 7 a.m. Bacon Park will resume operations on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 9 a.m.
