 City Hosts Annual Therapeutics Holiday Dinner Ball

Tickets On Sale Through Nov. 27

 

SAVANNAH (Nov. 16, 2023) – The City of Savannah Therapeutic Recreation division will be hosting their annual Therapeutics Holiday Dinner Ball on Dec. 1 at 6 p.m. at the Savannah Civic Center. 

Tickets for the event are now on sale and can be purchased in person at the John S. Delaware Center at 1815 Lincoln Street. Tickets are $20 and include a catered dinner by Longhorn Steakhouse. Tickets will remain on sale until Nov. 27. 

The annual Therapeutic Holiday Dinner Ball brings together special needs families and friends for an evening where everyone can bond and enjoy a night of fellowship, fun, and excitement. 

“Our annual ball is a wonderful opportunity for families to network and get to know each other,” Program Coordinator Veronica Green said. “We really hope everyone will join us for this special evening of fellowship and networking.”

The Therapeutic Recreation Program is a division of the City of Savannah Recreation & Leisure Services Department that provides activities and opportunities to improve fitness, health, and well-being for intellectually and physically challenged citizens.
