What time can I sell alcohol on Sundays currently?

Current law permits the sale of alcoholic beverages beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Sundays through 2 a.m. on Monday mornings.


Extending Sunday Sales

On November 6, 2018, the City of Savannah will have a question on the 2018 General Election Ballot asking voters if they would like to extend Sunday hours for alcohol consumption on premises. The question will read:

Shall the governing authority of THE CITY OF SAVANNAH be authorized to permit and regulate Sunday sales of distilled spirits or alcoholic beverages for beverage purposes by the drink from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.” ( ) YES ( ) NO

If approved by residents in the City of Savannah, the new time will go into effect on January 1, 2019.
