23rd Annual NEW BEGINNING Youth Art Exhibition

February 21 - March 16, 2024

Since 2001, The Savannah (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, has sponsored the New Beginning Art Exhibition, a juried competition for middle and high school students in Chatham County. This signature program is presented in partnership with Savannah Chatham County Public School System, the Savannah Cultural Arts Center and the Savannah Black Heritage Festival, whose 2024 theme is “Legacy & Innovation: Framing the Future of Our Culture.” 

The exhibit will later be displayed at the Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport.

The Savannah Cultural Arts Center gallery’s mission is to serve and respond to the Savannah community with exhibitions that strengthen awareness and stimulate dialogue through artistic expression. The department presents lectures, gallery tours, workshops and other educational programs related to exhibits whenever possible. Access to the gallery is free and open to the public.

Limited (paid) street parking is available near the (SCAC). The closest parking garages are Liberty Parking Garage on Liberty and Montgomery and Robinson Parking Garage on Montgomery St. across from Chatham County Courthouse.
