Forsyth Park Fountain Water Operations Shut Down for Annual Maintenance
SAVANNAH – The Forsyth Park fountain will be shut down water operations temporarily for annual maintenance beginning on Monday, Feb. 3.
City crews from the Park & Tree Department will conduct routine cleaning, repairs, and repainting to preserve the fountain’s historic beauty and ensure its continued operation. At least one walkway will be open around the fountain at all times. One walkway will be partially blocked for a few hours during the scheduled maintenance.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan accordingly. The fountain’s full water operations are expected to return to normal on Saturday, Feb. 8.
