City, Keep Savannah Beautiful Team Up for Fourth Annual Greek and Civic Cleanup Day Saturday

SAVANNAH – The City of Savannah’s Sanitation Department and Keep Savannah Beautiful invite residents, community members, and local organizations to join the Fourth Annual Greek and Civic Cleanup Day on Saturday, March 29, at the Liberty Community Center.

This annual event, sponsored by Keep Savannah Beautiful, marks the official kickoff for the 2025 Great Savannah Cleanup—a citywide day of service where residents, business, and local community organizations come together to help beautify our city. The 2025 Great Savannah Cleanup is set for Saturday, April 26, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Partners from local fraternities, sororities, civic organizations, and the Adopt-A-Spot program will adopt the Liberty City neighborhood, working together to clean and beautify public spaces, remove litter and debris, and ensure a more vibrant and inviting area for all to enjoy.

The City will provide safety vests, gloves, and plastic bags to support the cleanup effort.

Students participating in the cleanup will be eligible to receive community service hours. Additionally, residents and organizations are encouraged to explore the Adopt-A-Spot program, where they can adopt a street, park, or neighborhood to maintain throughout the year.
