TRAFFIC ALERT:
Whitaker St. Between Oglethorpe, Hull to Close Sept. 16 for Stormwater Drain Repairs
SAVANNAH – Both lanes on Whitaker Street between Oglethorpe Ave. and Hull St. will close beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 16 and will remain closed until Friday, Sept. 27 due to stormwater drain repairs.
All vehicle traffic on Whitaker will be detoured at Oglethorpe while the section of road is closed. The City recommends drivers plan their routes accordingly and avoid the intersection if possible.
City staff will provide an update to the public when available.
