City, Keep Savannah Beautiful Invite Residents to Great Savannah Spring Community Cleanup
SAVANNAH –The City of Savannah’s Sanitation Department, in partnership with Keep Savannah Beautiful, invites residents, businesses, and community organizations to participate in the 2025 Great Savannah Spring Community Cleanup on Saturday, April 26, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This annual event, sponsored by Keep Savannah Beautiful, encourages volunteers to help beautify Savannah by removing litter and debris from public spaces such as streets, parks and neighborhoods.
Individuals and groups interested in participating are asked to register online by Friday, April 4. Registered volunteers will receive safety vests, gloves and trash bags provided by the City to support their cleanup efforts.
Students who participate may be eligible to receive community service hours.
In addition to the cleanup event, the City encourages residents and organizations to consider long-term involvement through the Adopt-A-Spot program. Participants in this program identify a street, park or public area within the city and commit to maintaining it throughout the year.

Keep Savannah Beautiful (KSB) is a local affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, a national nonprofit public education organization focused on improving waste handling practices in American communities.
