SAVANNAH – The City of Savannah invites residents of the Highlands neighborhoods to participate in a Community Park Space Feedback Session on Monday, Oct. 20, from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The event will be held at Godley Station School, located at 2135 Benton Blvd.
This session offers an important opportunity for community members to share their ideas and input, which will help shape the design and development of a future community park space in the Highlands area.
City staff will lead a collaborative planning process emphasizing transparency, community ownership, and inclusive decision-making. All Highlands residents and interested members of the public are encouraged to attend and contribute their perspectives.
This feedback session is part of a citywide initiative to ensure that public spaces reflect the needs and voices of the people who use them. Insights gathered during the event will directly inform the design of the community park space, which aims to better serve the neighborhood’s diverse population.
