The City of Savannah has prioritized the safety and well-being of our youth. Our goal is to keep young people safe, hopeful, and engaged. Youth gun and other violence is a threat to the well-being of our youth and must be addressed through a collective effort across all sectors of government and the community.
To achieve this goal, the City of Savannah Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement is making funding available to eligible non-profit organizations to support community programs, services, and initiatives in 2026 that are directly focused on reducing gun violence among Savannah’s youth and young adults. Priority will be given to services targeting ages 12 to 25, who have been or are identified as being at high risk of involvement in gun or other violence.
The application period for 2025 Violence Reduction Grants will open June 7th, 2025, and close July 18th, 2025 at 5:00pm.
