Girls flag football is rapidly growing as an exciting, fast-paced sport that promotes athleticism, teamwork, and inclusivity. Unlike tackle football, flag football is a non-contact version of the game where players pull flags from an opponent’s belt instead of making tackles. This allows for a safer and more accessible way for girls to experience the thrill of football while developing skills such as agility, strategy, and leadership. As schools and organizations continue to embrace the sport, girls' flag football is breaking barriers and providing new opportunities for female athletes to compete, grow, and shine on the field. The City of Savannah is so excited to be host a recreation leagues this year!
