In 2022, the City of Savannah launched Recreation RE-IMAGINED, a continuous improvement initiative focused on re-thinking how recreation is delivered in Savannah and enriching the lives of our residents and guests by providing high quality recreation experiences.
Our top priority is helping you “live your best life” by offering activities that improve and enhance personal, family and community wellness. To achieve this goal, the City of Savannah is making major investments in its art, recreation and resource centers, programs, events, and outdoor amenities.
Lots of planning, design and development activities have been underway. We are pleased to share this update on our progress in several core areas, including improvements to our athletic facilities, community centers, splash pads, pools and playgrounds.
