PROJECT OVERVIEW

The City of Savannah is designing a new Community Center in the Windsor Forest neighborhood at the former Woody’s Skatepark site. The facility will provide flexible recreation, gathering, and program spaces for residents of all ages and abilities.

• Full-sized multipurpose court with bleachers
• Large Community Room for events and programs
• Commercial Kitchen
• Fitness Studio and Fitness Room
• Locker Rooms and Restrooms
• Youth Room with computers
• Concession Stand

PROJECT TIMELINE

• Q4 2025 — City Council approval to enter preconstruction services with selected CMAR
• Q1 2026 — Design complete and permitting finalized
• Q2 2026 — Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) approved; construction begins
• Q4 2027 — Construction complete; ribbon cutting ceremony and opening
