2. Public Notice During COVID-19 City of Savannah Community Development Block Grants (CDBG-CV)
   The City of Savannah received a supplemental allocation of Community Development Block Grants (CDBG-CV) funds as authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES) Act, Public Law 116-136, to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).
4. On or before December 1, 2020, the City of Savannah will amend its 2019 One Year Action Plan to allow for the use of supplemental CDBG-CV funds to avoid job loss caused by business closures related to social distancing by providing short-term working capital assistance to small businesses to enable retention of jobs held by low- and moderate-income persons.
6. Citizens are invited to comment on the proposed amendment within 5 days from the date of this notice. Written comments on the proposed amendment should be mailed to: City of Savannah Human Services, 1375 Chatham Parkway, Savannah, GA 31405, or sent by email to kreid@savannahga.gov. All written comments must be received by the Human Services Department by 5:00 pm local time, November 18, 2020.
