You can now apply for most Special Events, Film, & Tourism permits online!
BEFORE APPLYING FOR A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT:
- Determine if you need a permit from our office by reviewing the page that applies to your request.
- Check the online Special Event Calendar to see if your requested date(s) are available. Failure to do so may result in your application being denied if there is a conflicting event already in review or permitted.
- Your application will save automatically as you complete each step. The more prepared you are to apply, the easier your application journey will be.
- PRO TIP: Our system sends all correspondence to the email on file for the applicant. If multiple people need access to your application, consider creating a generic email with group access.
- Ensure the domain savannahga.gov is on your email whitelist. Check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive emails from our permit portal.
When you are ready...
PLEASE NOTE: Our office does not permit any activity on private property or in Chatham County.
