Week 1: June 9-13, 2025 FULL
Theme: Traveling Through Time Arts Camp! Which era will we start our summer adventures in? Only time will tell! Discover visual or performing arts through different decades, centuries, and millenniums as you move forward and backward through time in this groovy-interstellar-pre-historic camp.

| Youth Visual Arts: Form & Repeat *FULL* Rising 4th-6th Graders | 9:30am-12:00pm $40 $33.50 - City of Savannah Resident Rate | A hands-on pottery camp where young artists explore the magic of making multiples! From matching cups and bowls to puzzle-like sculptures, campers will use hand-building techniques and simple molds to create sets and repeating forms. Through playful projects and creative challenges, they’ll discover how individual pieces come together to make something even greater. Students should have some pottery experience before enrolling in this camp. |
| Teen Visual Arts: Introduction to Pottery *FULL* Rising 7th-12th Graders | 1:00-3:30pm $40 $33.50 - City of Savannah Resident Rate | Explore the creative possibilities in clay in this pottery sampler camp. Teens will learn a range of hand building techniques and try out the potters' wheel. This camp is intended for teens with little or no prior experience in pottery. Participants are required to wear closed-toed shoes in the ceramics studios. Please wear clothing that can get clay on them. |
| Teen Visual Arts: Printmaking *Closed* Rising 7th-12th Graders | 1:30-3:30pm $32 $26.50 - City of Savannah Resident Rate | This camp explores the ancient art of block printing, where students will learn to design and carve their own blocks, applying them to both paper and textiles. Through hands-on instruction, participants will experiment with different inks, patterns, and techniques to create vibrant, personalized prints. By the end of the course, students will have developed a unique collection of block-printed designs and gain the skills to continue their practice independently. No prior experience necessary. |
| Youth Performing Arts: Tumbling Tots *Closed* Ages 3-5 | 1:15-2:00pm $16 $13.50 - City of Savannah Resident Rate | Join us for an afternoon of acrobatics discovering basic skills of tumbling. Through creative music and imagination, there will be obstacle courses learning fun ways to roll, jump, and stretch. Athletic type clothing and bare feet or socks required. |
| Teen Performing Arts: Acting in Scenes for Teens *Closed* Rising 8th-12th Graders | 1:00-3:00pm $32 $26.50 - City of Savannah Resident Rate | In this quick camp students will be introduced to the foundations of scene work with another actor, and learn the exciting, collaborative journey that is building a character. We will use games, movement techniques, and improv to build dynamic scenes from the ground up! No acting or theatre experience necessary. |

This class will build confidence through fun warmups, across the floor drills, and choreography. This is a beginner-friendly class, break up your normal routine and join us! Week 3: June 23-27, 2025 FULL
Theme: Western Rodeo Arts Camp! Yeehaw! Rounding up all cowgirls and cowboys as we explore the old west! Wrangle up your artistic ranch hands or doe-see- doe your dancing boots to the nearest platform to put your southern drawl to work.

| Adult Visual Arts: Glass Camp *FULL* Ages 17+ | 1:30-3:30pm $75 $60 - City of Savannah Resident Rate | Try your hand at glass fusing and mosaics. Each student will create a 5x5 glass wall pocket and a 4x4 mosaic. Learn basic skills or challenge your design processes. Unleash your creativity while exploring color, texture, and design in every project! All materials supplied. |

| Teen Visual Arts: Chain Making *FULL* Rising 7th-12th Graders | 1:00-4:00pm $70 $60 - City of Savannah Resident Rate | Join us in this exploration of handmade chain. We’ll cover a variety of techniques, from traditional patterned link assembly to the inclusion of your own wire designs, build an understanding of the different materials available, and learn how to cut, shape, and connect links to create unique, wearable pieces. By the end of the class, participants will have created a truly custom chain bracelet or necklace. No experience necessary. |

Theme: Around the World Art Heist Camp: Someone stole artwork from museums around the world! Help us get them back where they belong! Be ready for grand adventures with sights to see, different dialects to distinguish to solve mysteries and learn about art through a creative cultural lens.

| Teen Visual Arts: Jewelry and Metals *FULL* Rising 7th-12th Graders | 1:00-4:00pm $60 $50 - City of Savannah Resident Rate | This beginner metalsmithing class introduces students to the fundamental techniques of working with metal, including cutting, shaping, and joining. Students will learn to use essential tools like hammers, saws, and torches to create simple, yet beautiful jewelry or small sculptures. Emphasis is placed on safety, creativity, and developing foundational skills for future metalworking projects. |

| Adult Visual Arts: Ceramics Wheel Intensive - Large Vessels *FULL* Ages 17+ | Mon - Thurs | 6:00-9:00pm Friday | 6:00-7:00pm $122 $97.50 - City of Savannah Resident Rate | In this wheel-focused workshop, individuals will get the chance to hone their skills in this 5-day boot camp. Students will learn the skills used for throwing larger pieces on the wheel, and improve their experience when throwing on the wheel. For students with experience on the potter's wheel only. |
Otis S. Johnson Cultural Arts Center
All classes take place at the Otis S. Johnson Cultural Arts Center at 201 Montgomery St. Campers will be dropped off and picked up on Turner Blvd. There is an accessible drop-off area on Montgomery St. For teen campers, limited (paid) street parking is available near the CAC. The closest parking garages are Liberty Parking Garage on Liberty and Montgomery and Robinson Parking Garage on Montgomery St. across from Chatham County Courthouse.
Camp Pricing
City of Savannah residents enjoy a reduction of the base camp rate. To qualify, home of record must be listed within the City of Savannah corporate limits. Further reduced pricing is available for:
- City of Savannah Residents with qualifying SCCPSS Free of Reduced Lunch form, TANF, SNAP, or qualifying income tax statement. Please review the application and required documentation here. (This form can be submitted at any time prior to camp registration and before registration opens).
- City of Savannah Employees. Employees and their immediate household family members receive a reduction in CAC programming. Please include employee name and number on the registration form.
