City Opening New Sweetwater Fire Station 


SAVANNAH, GA (November 30, 2018)— The City will open a new fire station at the Sweetwater Station subdivision at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 7.

 The fire station will be the new home for Engine 15 and will replace the temporary facility on Chevis Road.

The construction of the facility is funded through Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) 6 revenues.

What: Sweetwater Fire Station Grand Opening

When:  2:00 p.m. Friday, December 7

Where: 1751 Grove Point Road

Who: Mayor Eddie DeLoach, District 6 Alderman Tony Thomas, City Staff and Neighborhood Residents
