5^th District Town Hall to Discuss Zoning Actions on Fairgrounds Property to be Held April 29

SAVANNAH – Mayor Pro Tem and 5th District Alderwoman Dr. Estella Edwards Shabazz will be hosting a community meeting on Monday, April 29 to discuss the upcoming zoning actions required for the Fairgrounds redevelopment.

The Fairgrounds property is a 60-acre site located at 4801 Meding Street.  The future mixed-use project will include housing, film studios, a creative workforce innovation center, neighborhood commercial uses, an indoor sports facility, outdoor sports fields and courts, playgrounds, a nature preserve, and other community amenities.
