The Savannah Earth Day Festival, sponsored by the City of Savannah and celebrating its 16th year in 2016, is currently accepting applications for vendors and exhibitors. Applications are available at www.earthdaysavannah.org. There are no fees associated with being an exhibitor for non-profit groups and there is a minimal fee to sell at this year’s festival. Tents and chairs are provided to exhibitors and vendors, but tables are the responsibility of exhibitors and vendors. Deadline to apply is Friday, April 1.
This year’s festival will take place from 12noon - 5pm April 16th in Forsyth Park next to the Forsyth Farmers Market. There will be vendors, exhibitors, workshops, kids activities, food & music, making this the largest Earth Day event in Georgia.
Well FED Events is excited to oversee the festival productions again this year. They are engaging the participation of local community organizations that are committed to the long term sustainability of Savannah. Here are a few organizations that will be offering activities and information to the public: Art Rise Savannah, Chatham County Recycles, Gallery F.A.R.
