City of Savannah crews responded to a minor sewage spill at N/W Corner of Lincoln / River Street, Friday, February 15. The total volume discharged 40 gallons. The amount of this spill is classified as a minor spill under State Environmental Protection Division guidelines.

City Water and Sewer crews were notified of the spill at 12:15 a.m. today, and the spill was corrected by 12:16a.m. The Sewer Conveyance staff vacuumed and cleaned the sewage.

All agencies required by the State EPD were notified.
