The Savannah Youth Council Class of 2015-16 will graduate during a ceremony at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25 in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
Students, all of them Chatham County 8th graders, have spent the past year learning about government, and undergoing leadership and public speaking training. The program is organized by the City of Savannah as part of an effort to engage our young citizens with their City Government and create a more involved public. Members of the media are invited to attend.
