Date: August 29, 2016

WHAT: Dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony for Floyd E. Morris Field (formerly Optimist Field)

WHEN: 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2016

WHERE: Daffin Park, Victory Drive side

WHO: Members of City Council and City staff will join with neighborhood representatives.

WHY: Improvements to the newly renamed Floyd E. Morris Field include: approximately 88,818 square feet of synthetic field turf; installation of concrete curbs, drainage system, field markings and equipment to support sport play of football, soccer and lacrosse.
