Registration is now open for the October Neighborhood Leadership Institute session Multi-Generational Community Building: Creating a Common Vision for Savannah’s Neighborhoods, hosted by the City of Savannah Department of Community Planning and Development and the Savannah Youth Ambassadors.

The session will be held Saturday, October 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Savannah Civic Center, 2nd floor. Interested participants can register online at www.savannahga.gov/leadershiptraining or by calling Amelia Dempsey at (912) 651-6520. Registration deadline is October 14.

During the session, participants will discover community building strategies that respect the wisdom of all age groups, through a series of interviews and intergenerational exchanges. Our neighborhoods are stronger when elders, adults, and youth are all seated at the table. The event includes an Information Fair and free breakfast.
