The City of Savannah is asking all businesses, non-profits, social service providers and faith-based organizations who are assisting in the Hurricane Matthew recovery efforts to register with a new disaster recovery portal, located at www.savannah.recovers.org. Savannah Recovers is designed to help connect people in need with the organizations that can provide assistance. The City activated the third party platform site in response to Hurricane Matthew but plans to utilize the portal as part of any future emergency coordination efforts for the community.

The City encourages all community partners who are providing aid to hurricane victims to visit www.savannah.recovers.org and click the button labeled “I represent a local organization” and then follow the prompts to register your organization and its assistance options.
