[ARCHIVED] Construction on Abercorn at 51st scheduled to begin Nov. 12

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Date: November 3, 2016

The City of Savannah will replace aging storm lines that run under Abercorn Street at 51st Street beginning Saturday, November 12. The project is expected to be completed Sunday, November 13.

Motorists should be aware that traffic will intermittently be reduced to one lane in each direction as construction progresses and should plan accordingly for expected delays. The City will be replacing two storm lines which are over 50 years old.
