Savannah Government Television has launched the October edition of City Span. The magazine-style news show features stories in and about the City of Savannah.

This month’s show features a recap of the City’s response to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irma and looks back at how far we’ve come in the year since Hurricane Matthew. There’s also a segment on the history of the canals in Savannah – specifically the Springfield Canal – slated to become an integral part of the planned Arena and Canal District.

Other stories this month include an update on changes to the downtown parking shuttles, Savannah Fire & Emergency Services efforts to educate our young adults on the consequences of drinking and driving, Carver Village and its rich history, changes to the City’s grass cutting program, and a street naming to honor the men and women of the Armed Forces.
