Savannah Government Television (SGTV) has launched the November edition of City Span. The magazine-style news show features stories in and about the City of Savannah.
This month’s show includes an update on the progress of the demerger of the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department, including several new precinct locations that will come on line once the Savannah Police Department is finalized on February 1, 2018.
The City’s “Savannah Shines” initiative is already making a visible difference in the Edgemere-Sackville – helping residents reduce blight issues, beautify their neighborhood, and improve public safety. Viewers will see how a recent “Clean Sweep” is making an impact.
The show features an update on the President Street project which includes a full rebuild of the Bilbo Canal and City Span takes a journey inside the new walls of the Cultural Arts Center in the Historic District.
Other stories include updates on Utility Billing, West Bay Streetscape, a behind-the-scenes look at a major concert setup at Historic Grayson Stadium, and a wrap up of the Fall Cultural Arts Day.
Finally, tune in to SGTV to find out about a new deli in Savannah in the Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC) Spotlight and learn about important online investing and banking information on the ‘Bank on This’ segment.
