Downtown Ramp to Truman Parkway Opens Before St. Patrick’s Day

SAVANNAH, GA (March 13, 2018) — The City of Savannah will be opening the President Street eastbound left turn lane at Truman Parkway in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

The President Street eastbound left turn lane will open at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14. The city also plans to remove the temporary median at the intersection of East Broad and Broughton Street shortly thereafter.

Parade goers are encouraged to use the Truman Parkway when exiting the downtown area during or after the parade if they are located east of Bull Street.
