City Restoring Historic Fountains

SAVANNAH, GA (July 20, 2018) — The City of Savannah has temporarily removed the fountain in Lafayette Square and Fragrance Garden in Forsyth Park for routine maintenance.

Both fountains have corrosion in several places and the City wants to make sure fountains are properly repaired. The maintenance is being done by Robinson Iron, the original manufacturer of the two fountains. The fountains will be re-installed within a month.Fountain Removal
