City Partners with Small Business Chamber for Small Business Saturday
SAVANNAH, GA (November 15, 2018) — The City will announce details of the upcoming 2018 Small Business Saturday in partnership with the Small Business Chamber of Commerce on Monday, November 19 at 2:00 p.m. in the SW corner of Ellis Square.
This year’s Small Business Saturday is taking place on November 24, the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Small Business Saturday is a national initiative aimed at encouraging consumers to spend locally and support their small businesses community.
At the most recent City Council meeting, Mayor Eddie DeLoach kicked off the local campaign with Small Business Chamber of Commerce representative Aimee Dover and the City of Savannah’s Director of Business Opportunity Manny Dominguez, which included an official proclamation declaring November 24 as Small Business Saturday in Savannah.
On Small Business Saturday, all City of Savannah parking will be free for the first three hours.
