SAVANNAH, GA (November 19, 2018) — City of Savannah Mayor Eddie DeLoach was joined today in Ellis Square by representatives from the Small Business Chamber of Commerce and the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center to announce the City’s proclamation naming November 24, 2018, Small Business Saturday in Savannah. This is also a national initiative which began in 2010 and was backed by a Senate resolution starting in 2011.

Shop Small Savannah will have a tent in Ellis Square with information on participating businesses, coupons, shopping bags and trolley rides by Old Savannah Tours tailored to small business shoppers.

To promote Small Business Saturday, all City of Savannah parking will be free for the first three hours on November 24. More information on Small Business Saturday can be found at https://shopsmallsav.com.
