District Town Hall Meetings Set For February

SAVANNAH, GA (February 7, 2019) — City Aldermen are scheduling District Town Hall meetings to discuss public safety, code enforcement and other district related issues.

District 5 Alderwoman Dr. Estella Shabazz will hold two Town Hall meetings. The first will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26 at the Mosaic Church located at 7 Canebrake Rd. The second Town Hall meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27 at the Liberty City Center located 1401 Mills B Lane Blvd.

District 6 Alderman Tony Thomas will hold four Listening Sessions. The first will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, February 11 at the Elks Lodge located at 183 Wilshire Boulevard. The second will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12 at the Crusaders Community Center located at 81 Coffee Bluff Villa Road. The third listening session will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19 at Armstrong University’s Health Professions Academic Center Room 160 located at 11935 Abercorn Street. The final meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20 at the Winsor Forest Golden Age Center located at 308 Briarcliff Circle.
