City of Savannah recycling collection delayed 

SAVANNAH (Sept. 10) – City of Savannah recycling collection is delayed, and pickup is scheduled to be completed early next week. Monday's schedule adjustments for the Labor Day holiday contributed to collection delays. 

Crews will continue collecting recycling through Saturday, Sept. 11 and finish any remaining routes beginning Monday, Sept. 13. Residents should leave recycling carts at the curb or point of collection until service is completed, and no return cart citations will be issued.
